The Duties, Duties and Rights of Liaison Officer shall be as follows:-
(a) To try to solve the problems faced by the climbing party,
(b) To inspect and monitor the weight of the heavy loads carried by the workers accompanying the mountaineers,
(c) Staying at the base camp for the duration of the mountaineering expedition,
(d) To send the information about the progress of mountaineering and any accident during mountaineering to the Ministry by fast means,
(e) Discipline the chiefs, mountain guides and workers and try to prevent any discord or conflict,
(f) In case of any unpleasant incident or conflict between any member of the mountaineer party and the local people or warlords, guides or workers, to settle it by themselves and if it is not possible to settle it, to take the necessary action with the help of the nearest police station, district administration office or local body,
(G) Doing necessary work related to environmental sanitation and waste management
(h) If a mountaineer team or any member of that team tries to climb a mountain without authorization, to stop such activity and send the information to the Ministry as soon as possible,
(j) In case of death or dismemberment of any member, leader, guide or worker of the mountaineer party due to an accident, or if any of them commits or is likely to commit any serious crime, or if communication equipment or other items used by the mountaineer party are lost, to send a report to the Ministry as soon as possible. ,
(j) Acting as an interpreter between the members of the mountaineer party and the person accompanying the party,
(k) To advise the leader of the mountaineering party regarding the location of the mountaineering camp,
(l) To send to the Ministry the identity of the workers and other persons involved in the mountain climbing team, certified by the leader of that team,
(D) The rare and historically important goods found by the mountaineer team should be taken and safely delivered to the place designated by the Nepalese government.
(d) To work according to the instructions given by the Ministry.
